Course Description

Various methods are available in today’s dental world to contour or remove tissue. Nearly all dentists claim to offer “cosmetic dentistry procedures” in their offices, but it is virtually impossible to create a successful case without using a laser. Diode lasers are economic and easy to use. This laser technology is the perfect “starter laser” that allows a clinician to implement many beneficial procedures in daily practice.

Dr. Auster completed 2 terms as a director of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and recently completed term as the AACD leadership and education committee chairs. He takes great pride in being named an AACD Humanitarian of the Year and recently completed his 12th year doing volunteer dentistry abroad. He is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists and was named a leader in Dentistry Continuing Education for Dentistry Today Magazine for the past 6 years. He is founder and past-president of the Greater New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Auster is a "Dawson Academy Scholar” and ADA “Certificate for International Voluntary Service” winner. Dr. Auster has dozens of articles in dental journals including cover stories in Dentistry Today. He has literally lectured from Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon and internationally.
